Issue with GitHub Student Developer Pack Application

Hi everyone,

I recently applied for the GitHub Student Developer Pack, but unfortunately, my application was rejected. I had originally submitted my student card as proof.

After the rejection, I followed all the suggested steps:

• Enabled two-factor authentication (2FA)

• Updated my GitHub profile (name, ...)

• Added a payment method under billing

However, when I try to apply again, I keep getting a red triangle with an exclamation mark ⚠️ and no error message or explanation.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to find out what’s causing the issue or how to fix it?

Initially I had issues applying for the student developer pack too, I can't remember if I had the red triangle but I kept getting rejected. After adding payment details to my account and reapplying I finally got accepted.
Try this, maybe it works for you.

I got rejected about 30 minutes ago, I also tried log out as suggested in the GitHub site, but when I try again what I explained in the post happen. May should I wait a certain amount of time to reapply?

Yes there is a cool down period, wait a day or 2 before reapplying

Simply I applied my request from my mobile device and i got approved.
