School email blocked due to deleted GitHub account

Hi everyone,

Hello GitHub Education Team / Community,

I previously applied for the GitHub Student Developer Pack using my school email at [email protected].
I had trouble logging in, unlinked the email, created a new account, and eventually deleted it.
Now I have a new GitHub account, but when I try to apply for the Student Pack, it says my school email is already in use.

I have created a public repository for verification: README.md

Could someone advise how I can release my school email from the deleted account so I can reapply?

Hi @pkor2003,

I recommend you contact support by opening a ticket here, select "Other" and ask them to revoke the student benefits linked to the old account, so you'll be able to apply with the current one.
